Cornell University’s travel needs are diverse; faculty, staff, and students travel frequently to international locations using multiple airline carriers.   Travel may be funded from grant or specially designated accounts.  It is important for the traveler to understand the nuances of the Fly America Act, and review flight options with the department financial administrator or Business Service Center prior to purchase of ticket(s).    Travel reimbursement may be denied if regulations in the Fly America Act are not followed.

The AXIOM online reservation tool is available for simple round trip international itineraries.

It is recommended that complicated or multi-city itineraries be reserved by contacting the American Express General Reservations Call Center (888-656-0432).
